Quick & Easy Graduation Card

I know I’m not alone. You suddenly remember a “fill in the blank” party and need a card. You go to your stash and you have everything in the world there EXCEPT the kind of card you need.

I found myself in that situation Saturday. My husband and I wanted to attend a graduation party for one of the young men in our church and I had no card that was suitable for this. Off to the craft room I went with one hour to create a card before I needed to head out the door. Sometimes my best cards are made with me in a time crunch and this one is no exception.

I used things from my stash for this project and I’m pretty please with the outcome.

Cutting instructions:

  • Cut a black card base to 4 1/4 x 11 and score at 5 1/2. This will make a side folding landscape US A2 card.
  • Cut a Gold Glitter panel to 4 x 5 1/4
  • Cut a black card panel to 3 3/4 x 5
  • Using the oval die, cut a black oval for the focal point of the card.
